Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Camilla and Mark tied the knot at the lovely Generations Riviera Maya Resort in Cancun. One of my favorite parts about this destination wedding was this amazing pink wall. Camilla LOVES the color pink (and it totally is her color), so it felt very special that this epic pink wall just happened to be present on her wedding day. Camilla also happens to love Disney and Mark is 100% on board. Their wedding had a touch of “Beauty & the Beast” sprinkled in to perfection!
Most of the guests flew into Cancun from New Jersey, but a lot of Camilla’s family members from Brazil ( that she hadn’t seen in years!) also made the trip to celebrate. Her older brother, in fact, flew from Brazil and performed the wedding ceremony, marrying his little sister to the love of her life. Talk about special!
The day was beautiful! It was HOT and a little gloomy, but the rain stayed away the entire time! The Generations Riviera Maya Resort has a cute chapel on site, tucked away at the corner of the property. This allowed for a private ceremony with immediate access to the reception area on the sand. Because we were sort of hidden away from any of the other resort guests, it really helped the whole wedding feel super intimate.
Camilla and Mark, what a joy it was to celebrate with you and document such a special day in your lives. I wish you both only the best. May your love grow stronger each and every day <3
