It’s that time of year again! Mini Session Marathon 2018 has been set:

Saturday, November 24!

Last year’s mini session marathon was so much fun (see a few of the photos above), but this year EVERYTHING IS DIFFERENT! Okay, maybe not everything, but there are a lot of changes compared to last year 😉

For starters, this year’s marathon will be held INDOORS. This will eliminate the need for a rain date and allow me to fit in more slots since I won’t be solely relying on natural light.

Since we obviously won’t be using nature as a backdrop, my theme for this year’s background will be minimal and sweet with lots of holiday vibe options available. There will be various props on set, INCLUDING CONFETTI!! 🙂 This will be a studio-like setting, but I will still maintain the lifestyle portrait session vibe. There will be some posing directing, but as usual, my goal is to capture my subjects as authentic as possible.

So here’s the scoop:

Mini sessions are perfect for holiday photos, quick updated family photos, or just for fun!

Location:
Ironbound — Newark, NJ

I’ve rented out a beautiful, large business meeting room which will be organized and separated in the following manner:
1. waiting, hanging out, getting excited area — snacks provided 😉
2. prop selection and your own personal jitters release area
3. private shooting, where-the-magic-happens area
** this will be where the actual photoshoot will take place and will be blocked off from the other areas’ view

Shooting Time:
15 minute slots

There will be about 14 slots available. If there’s more interest, I’ll likely open up more slots 😉

Investment:
$135

My typical portrait sessions are $300. This is the only mini session marathon I will be hosting this year with no planned date for next year.
