It’s been a while, friends. My silence around these parts hasn’t necessarily worked the way I imagined it would. I have so much to share from these past couple of months of absence. Perhaps in an end of the year post? I’m not sure yet, but maybe that’s what I’ll do. PH is my grandma’s nephew (my grandma is the first photo of this post) and Marcia is his lovely wife. I flew to Brazil for a weekend this past month to spend some time with my beautiful grandma. On the day that I arrived, we met PH + Marcia at their apartment and had a wonderful afternoon together. We drove a few blocks away to the warm sands of Leblon Beach in Rio de Janeiro and had so much fun. At that point in time, they were expecting baby Pedro, who has now come into the world handsome and strong. I’m so grateful that I had the opportunity to capture their love a few weeks before their first son was born. I hope that when he’s older and he looks back on these photos, he’ll see how much his father and mother loved each other and how excited they were to meet him.
