I can’t say enough how much I love the beach. I enjoy beach trips with my friends, taking naps on the sand, and reading a good book while listening to the waves crash. These are truly a few of my favorite things! So, anytime I get a chance to photograph on the beach, my heart does little happy dances– even if it’s in October.  🙂

Earlier this month, Emerson and I met with John and Marisa right by Gold’s Gym in Long Branch and spent our late afternoon walking along the sand, making sure the cold water didn’t reach our toes, laughing, and taking pictures along the way. It was a little chilly, but the sun allowed for some warm moments. Marisa and John are expecting a baby boy early next year and I can already tell they will be great parents! It was lovely seeing the way they love each other and how much they already love their little man. 

Marisa, John, and Baby Silva, I wish you nothing but the best. May your love for each other and your little family continue to grow more and more each day. You have a beautiful love that was a joy for me to capture and I’m thankful that you entrusted me to do so.
